Being a celebrant isn’t just about weddings I am honoured to offer these other services. My services are available for Naming Ceremonies, Vow Renewals, Commitment Ceremonies, Memorials and Funerals or any other special ceremonies that require one who celebrates at your milestone events.
A renewal of vows ceremony is the occasion for couples to renew their marriage vows after difficult times or an anniversary. During your renewal of vows ceremony, you will be able to proclaim your continuing love for each other and reaffirm your commitment to each other and to the marriage vows you had previously taken.
Whilst your renewal of vows ceremony can follow the same rituals and traditions as a marriage ceremony, no official documents nor marriage certificate will be registered. The couple will sign a Re-Affirmation of Marriage Vows certificate, along with two nominated witnesses.
It’s a very humbling experience to be invited into homes and families at such a sad and difficult time. A funeral ceremony plays an important role in the grieving process and in helping people come to terms with their loss. I am very committed to providing a funeral service that reflects the wishes, beliefs, values and cultural background of the family and their loved one so they find some comfort in the funeral process.
As a funeral celebrant, I will ensure I provide the most caring possible service to the family and friends of the deceased. We will meet for an hour or so a few days prior to the funeral service at your home, funeral hoe or any other suitable venue of your choice. During this time I will talk with family and friends in order to learn as much about the deceased one as possible. This is the most important part of creating a personal funeral, a funeral tribute which is true to their life story and personal qualities.
